Alicante is the Valencia region's second-largest town. It is a real Spanish town with 340,000 inhabitants - much more than just a tourist centre. With its wonderful boulevards lined with palm trees and shopping streets, Alicante is one of the most well known towns along the Costa Blanca.
The city is brimming with new projects, having been transformed in less than a decade to an attractive place with a spirited nightlife. As a result, today it's attracting visitors looking for the 'real' Spain.

It is connected via road, air and sea connections with all important destinations in Spain and around the world. It is 432 km from Madrid, about 540 km from Barcelona and 82 km away from Valencia.

Valencia.
The Valencia region is famous for its ceramics, fans and wickerwork. The Valencian coast has many beautiful resorts with golden beaches and historic towns, making excellent holiday destinations. Inland, the soil is fertile earning the title of "the bread-basket of Spain" and is well known for its orange groves.
Valencia is a vibrant city with plazas and gardens in which to rest and a wide variety of historical buildings to explore. The city also has a thriving port, marina and long beaches. With its many theatres, cinemas, dance halls and entertainment venues, Valencia offers a cultural experience never forgotten. There are venues to suit every age and taste, and the nightlife pulsates until the early hours of the morning. Valencia has a typical Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters. It is famous for its extraordinary light that reaches every corner and the great weather lasting all year long. The the city has an incredible diversity - each area of the city has a completely different urban landscape so that you might imagine you're in a different city altogether.
